Return Policy
This Returns Policy applies to all orders placed with Fusion Audio Mastering for custom-manufactured vinyl records, CDs, cassettes, and associated printed materials.
1. Custom-Made Products
All products supplied by Fusion Audio Mastering are made to order based on the individual specifications provided by the customer, including but not limited to submitted audio content, track listings, artwork, media format, and packaging preferences.
These products are classified as custom-made goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
2. Cancellation Rights
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the statutory 14-day right to cancel does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept that:
• The items ordered are custom-made to your specifications
• The 14-day cancellation right does not apply
• Once production has begun, your order cannot be cancelled
Production is deemed to have commenced once audio preparation, artwork preparation, manufacturing setup, or cutting/duplication has started.
3. Order Amendments and Change of Mind
Requests for order cancellation, change of mind, or alterations must be submitted within 24 hours of placing the order.
After 24 hours, Fusion Audio Mastering reserves the right to refuse amendments or cancellations, particularly where production scheduling or preparation has begun.
Once production has commenced, no cancellations or amendments will be accepted.
Due to the bespoke nature of our products, returns or refunds are not accepted for:
• Change of mind outside the 24-hour window
• Incorrect audio or artwork submitted by the customer
• Spelling errors or design errors in customer-supplied artwork
• Customer dissatisfaction with creative choices specified by the customer
• Orders where required copyright permissions were not obtained
4. Audio and Manufacturing Characteristics
Lathe-cut vinyl records and other custom analogue formats may exhibit inherent characteristics of the manufacturing process. The following do not constitute faults and are not eligible for return or refund:
• Lead-in or lead-out position or length (including variations affecting jukebox playback)
• Minor surface noise typical of lathe-cut or duplicated media
• Custom lathe-cut records not aligning or cueing correctly with automatic or semi-automatic turntables
• Subjective audio quality concerns such as EQ balance, volume level, tonal character, or perceived loudness, unless the result is significantly different from a previous single unit or approved test cut
• Problems originating from the original audio files supplied by the customer, including gaps, skips, fades, distortion, clipping, or editing errors
Customers are responsible for ensuring the technical quality and readiness of submitted audio files unless a separate mastering service has been agreed in writing.
5. Faulty or Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged in transit or contains a clear manufacturing defect, you may be eligible for a replacement or refund.
To report a fault, you must:
• Notify us within 7 days of delivery
• Provide clear photographic or video evidence
• Retain original packaging where possible
Where a manufacturing fault is confirmed, we will offer:
• A replacement; or
• A full or partial refund where replacement is not possible
Where a refund is approved, it will be processed using the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
Fusion Audio Mastering is unable to issue refunds to alternative payment methods.
Refund processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
6. Shipping Costs
Shipping fees are non-refundable unless an item is confirmed to be faulty due to manufacturing error.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
